Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) allows you to apply for Canadian Citizenship if you have been a Physical Resident of Canada for three years i.e., (1095 days) out of the four years immediately preceding your application submission. There is also exceptional circumstance, where you may be allowed to apply for Citizenship even though you are not physically present in Canada for the required 1095 days.
